Global Cancellation of Axial Fan Noise

Fans are commonly used in many electronic products for maintaining the temperature. Traditional fan noise reduction technique used passive control method or focused on the design of the fan’s blade. The active noise control (ANC) is developed to reduce the undesired axial fan noise. Experimental results show ANC can achieve around 3dB global noise cancellation.
