Light-weight Earphones

Three types of light-weight ANC earphones including in-ear, earbud, and clip phones are developed using music or natural sound for the critical secondary path modeling to avoid extra random noise. Real-time experiments are conducted to evaluate their performance using the built-in microphone inside KEMAR’s ear and compare with popular used ANC headphones. Experimental results show the developed light-weight earphones achieve higher noise reduction than two commercial-available ANC headphones.
